How climate changes affect wildlife populations
We are working at the population level and at the individual level using long-term monitoring survey. The originality of our approach is for example to study the foraging behaviour of individuals to understand how climate and oceanographic variations influence the populations.
Our research is interested in a series of questions:
- How do individuals forage in relation to the distribution and the abundance of marine ressources
- How do individuals allocate these ressources between reproduction and survival
- The consequences of these allocation processes at the population level
