Contemporary evolution and demography in seabirds

How do human activities affect natural selection in animals? How fast is genetic evolution today? Will evolution have an impact on demography and population persistence in the face of environmental changes? How to use evolutionary biology to improve species conservation?
I study these questions using long-term monitoring of seabirds and computer simulations. I favour quantitative genetic methods but also use tools from genomics, demography, and more thanks to collaborations.
